Bill Persons received his B.A. in Biology from Grinnel College in 1973 and his M.S. in Fishery Biology in 1979 from Iowa State University. He began working as a fishery biologist with the Utah Cooperative Fishery Research Unit at Utah State University in 1979. Shortly thereafter he worked for two years as a fishery research biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Washington state. From 1984-the present he has been working for the Arizona Game Department and currently is the Wildlife Specialist Supervisor in the Research Branch.
