Rick Johnson has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Wildlife Management from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Wisconsin. He directed science and stewardship programs for The Nature Conservancy in Minnesota and New Mexico before coming to Arizona. Since 1998 he has represented Southwest Rivers and the Grand Canyon Trust in the Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Program. During this time, he has served on the Technical Work Group, including a short stint as the TWG Chair, and on the Adaptive Management Work Group.
