Chris Harris is currently the Deputy Director of the Colorado River Board of California, and has been with the Board since August 2000. Chris is involved in most of the Board's major programs and activities associated with protecting and managing California's rights and interests in its Colorado River water and hydropower supplies. Some of the major programs that Chris is currently involved in include implementation of the Lower Colorado River Multi-Species Conservation Program, participation in Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Program, and the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Program. Prior to joining the Board's staff, Chris spent nearly 15 years working for the Arizona Department of Water Resources, the last six in the Department's Office of Colorado River Management. Chris also worked for the federal Bureau of Land Management and the United States Forest Service.
