Environmental Commitment and Monitoring Plan

The document is an environmental commitment and monitoring plan developed by the Bureau of Reclamation as a supporting document to the Supplemental Final Environmental Impact Statement (2000FSEIS) for the Animas-La Plata Project. Throughout the planning process and preparation for project construction, efforts have been made to avoid impacts where practicable. If avoidance was not possible, mitigation measures were developed to reduce the level of impact. this plan provides a framework for the avoidance and mitigation measures and for monitoring activities.
