The Operation of Glen Canyon Dam, Final Environmental Impact Statement analyzes the impacts of operations from 1963 to 1990 and alternative operations of Glen Canyon Dam on downstream environmental and cultural resources of Glen and Grand Canyons. This document is often used by decisionmakers within the Bureau of Reclamation and Department of the Interior. It is an example of cooperative efforts between governmental agencies and Native American tribes to conserve our environment and meet the needs of a rapidly changing West.
