San Acacia Diversion Dam Field Exploration for Fish Passage
Final Environmental Assessment

The United States Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation, as lead federal agency, is preparing an environmental assessment, San Acacia Diversion Dam Field Exploration for Fish Passage.

This Project would include field exploration studies, including foundation investigations and design data collection activities for the proposed fish passage facility to be located at the San Acacia Diversion Dam, on the Rio Grande in Socorro County, New Mexico. Core drilling is required to characterize the geological and geotechnical site conditions.

Copies of the draft environmental assessment will be available for public inspection at the following locations: Albuquerque, NM, Main Library, 501 Copper NW, Albuquerque NM; Socorro Public Library, 401 Park Street, Socorro, NM; and the Bureau of Reclamation, Albuquerque Area Office, 555 Broadway NE, Suite 100, Albuquerque, NM.
