- Title XVI Water Recycling and Reuse Program
(under the provides authority for Reclamation’s water recycling and reuse program, titled “Title XVI.” Through the Title XVI program, Reclamation identifies and investigates opportunities to reclaim and reuse wastewaters and naturally impaired ground and surface water in the 17 Western States and Hawaii.
- WateReuse Research Foundation funds applied research in the areas of water reclamation, reuse, and desalination.
- Advanced Water Treatment Pilot and Demonstration Grants encourages pilot and demonstration projects that address the technical, economic, and environmental viability of treating and using brackish groundwater, seawater, impaired waters, or otherwise creating new water supplies within a specific locale.
Rural Water Supply Program emphasizes innovation in water treatment for rural communities.
