Reclamation Supplement to Federal Property Management Regulations

Part 47 Utilization and Disposal of Real Property

Subpart 114S-47.1 General Provisions

114S-47.101 Applicability.

A political subdivision shall be construed to include all irrigation districts and water conservation districts.

114S-47.103-12 Real Property.

Improvements acquired with land that are required for reservoir sites, such as farm buildings, which must be removed, need not be taken up as real property inventory when disposal is to be undertaken under authority other than the Federal and Administrative Services Act of 1949. When their nature is such that disposal through the provision of the Act would be more advantageous to the Government, they should be picked up on the real property inventory, and included on the real property disposal report when disposal occurs.
