General purpose space required by Reclamation is assigned by GSA except (1) when space is required for field crews in remote areas for a period of less than 1 year or (2) when space is available in Reclamation-constructed facilities.
(a) Each office will make space needs known by submitting SF-81, Request for Space, through the Regional Office to the appropriate GSA regional office. A copy of the space request plus a copy of all related correspondence will be sent to the Reclamation Service Center, D-7910.
(b) Offices needing space in the Office of Administrative Services designated controlled cities (refer to 425 DM 2.2A) must submit their requests directly to the Reclamation Service Center, D-7910.
