The event kicked off at 10:00 a.m. with a local color guard that included joint efforts from the VFW Mini-Cassia Post 3043 , other VFW members throughout Idaho, and the local American Legion. Guest speakers included: Roland Springer; Rocky Baker, Heyburn City Councilman; Jerry Gregg, SRAO Area Manager; and Tino Tafoya,Special Assistant to the Regional Director. Following brief remarks from the speakers, a ceremonial USFO new building.ribbon cutting took place.

Public tours of the building were given by Upper Snake Field employees and musical entertainment was provided by “Bits & Pieces”, a blue grass band made up of current and retired BOR employees.
