West Extention Irrigation District Boundary Adjustment Final EA & FONSI

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) has released the final Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the West Extension Irrigation District’s (WEID) boundary adjustment. WEID requested the boundary adjustment to insure that all acres presently irrigated by WEID are federally authorized, to provide sufficient lands in order for WEID to maintain its base assessment acres, and to assure the federally recognized district boundaries are consistent with Oregon's state district boundaries.  The proposed action would grant WEID’s request to adjust its federal boundary.
