Reclamation Hosts Cable News Show

The Bureau of Reclamation is introducing its cable news show called 'Streamline,' produced for local public access television viewers in the Treasure Valley.

'Streamline' will air Thursday, January 10, at 8:30 p.m. on TVTV Channel 11.

The program offers a magazine style format with on-camera interviews. The opening show features the construction at Arrowrock Dam and potential impacts to native bull trout in the Boise River.

Host, John Redding, public affairs specialist, opens the show with field stories followed by studio interviews with Steve Jarsky, Reclamation Operations and Maintenance supervisor, and Brian Flatter, fisheries biologist with Idaho Department of Fish and Game.

"This is another information tool available to us as a way to get the message out about what Reclamation is doing in Idaho," said Diana Cross, Reclamation Public Affairs Officer. "Our hope is to be both informative as well as entertaining."

Future stories on 'Streamline' will include canal safety, water conservation, and special programming in recognition of Reclamation’s 100-year history.

TVTV is a local cable access television station that reaches a potential audience of approximately 72,000 viewers within Idaho’s Treasure Valley.
