Manager Selected for Upper Columbia Area Office
J. Eric Glover of the Bureau of Reclamation’s Pacific Northwest Region has been named as the Area Manager of the Upper Columbia Area Office in Yakima, Washington. He will be responsible for the overall management of Reclamation’s program and activities in the Columbia and Yakima river basins in Washington State as well as most western Montana related issues.
Mr. Glover previously served as the Area Manager of Reclamation’s Lower Columbia Area Office in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Glover moved to Portland in 1994 to manage the Natural Resource and Native American Outreach Programs for the then newly formed Lower Columbia Area Office. He became the Area Manager in 1996.
"I am pleased to announce Eric Glover’s selection for this new assignment," said Pacific Northwest Regional Director Bill McDonald. "He is an experienced manager and has shown he is up to the challenges of this new position."
Mr. Glover joined Reclamation in 1973 as a Chemist. Since then, he has worked in several capacities including Water Quality Specialist, Hydrologist, Water Resource Planner and Activity Manager, and Natural Resource Program Manager. He holds a Bachelors Degree in chemistry from Western Washington University and a Masters in Business Administration from Boise State University.
Glover and his wife Sandy have two grown children.
