Reclamation Divers Scour Park Center Pond

Who: Six divers from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Underwater Investigation Dive Team and Boise Parks & Recreation employees.

What: A volunteer clean-up of Park Center Pond by Bureau of Reclamation Underwater Investigation Dive Team members and Boise Parks & Recreation Dept employees. Reclamation divers will remove trash and assorted debris from the 5 acre pond. This will be the third year Reclamation divers have participated in a clean up at Park Center Pond with Boise Parks & Recreation Dept.

When: Saturday, April 21 - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Where: Park Center Pond - located off Park Center Blvd. across the street from Albertson’s Corporate headquarters.

Why: To celebrate Earth Day through stewardship of local parks and waterways. The Reclamation dive team has performed salvage cleaning at Quinn’s Pond and the Boise River annually for the last six years.
