CFS OPERATIONAL COMMENTS: Storage is 118.5% of average (1981-2010). --------------------- Inflow to the five reservoirs is 78%, releases from the five are 131% and major canal diversions are 89% of averge. Unregulated flow for the Yakima River nr. Parker is 90% and observed flow is 128% of average. Inflow to the five reservoirs for the water year to date is 1170KAF, or 103% of average and releases from the five is 609KAF, or 127% of average. Unregulated flow for the Yakima River nr. Parker for the same period is 2334KAF, or 101% of average and observed flow is 1308KAF, or 104% of average. Major canal diversions for the period April 1st - May 23rd is 339KAF, or 103% of average. Precipitation at the five reservoirs for the month of May to date is 7.19 inches, or 72.6% of the month's average . Precipitation for the period October 1st - May 23rd is 185.5 inches, or 91.2% of average. NRCS Snotel sites for the upper Yakima basin are reporting 87% of average and lower basin sites are reporting 80% of average. Click on the link below for the Washington State daily report.
