Power

From its headwaters in the Canadian Rockies, the Columbia River descends 2,600 feet during its 1,200-mile journey to the Pacific Ocean. The energy from this falling water is used to create electricity all along the river. Grand Coulee Dam is the cornerstone of this power system, providing electricity for millions of users.
