Pump Starting Test (Tracy Pumping Plant)
Testing and diagnostics of large motors and generators is crucial for the efficient operation, safety, and maintenance of Reclamation power facilities. The Electric Power and Diagnostics Team provides expertise for a variety of functions including machine starting, synchronizing, trouble shooting and analysis, instrumentation applications, power electronics, and unit control and protective relaying. Our work experience ranges from small synchronous and induction machines below 100 KVA to large synchronous machines over 800 MVA.
