Emergency Management Training Courses
Dam Safety Emergency Management
Specialists of the Emergency Management and GIS Group have developed an Emergency Management Orientation Seminar tailored specifically to the needs of dam operators in Reclamation, in other Government agencies, and in the private sector. Since 1991, this seminar has been conducted for various organizations, including the National Weather Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs, U.S. Forest Service, and many State and local agencies, as well as Reclamation personnel at the Technical Service Center and at regional and area offices. FEMA-Certified Training
Some of our Emergency Managers are also trained instructors, certified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to teach a variety of courses from FEMA's curriculum.
