Environmental Applications and Research Group
Staff
Our group examines the interrelationships between the environment and regulated aquatic systems within the 17 Western states. We conduct applied research, laboratory studies, and project-specific field investigations in the areas of aquatic ecology, water quality, fisheries, aquatic plant management, aquatic pest control, wetlands, and wildlife biology to help meet Reclamation's information needs as well as those of our clients. Through our cooperative efforts with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as with foreign governments, our research assists in the development of methods that help manage and protect Reclamation structures as well as the water quality and habitat value associated with these structures.
