Funding for Client Liaisons and Program Assistants
Good News! Beginning in FY 2013, this expense no longer needs to be added separately to most service agreements. The one exception will be a $500 fee to be charged for all Non-Reclamation work.
For any newly funded FY 2012 work, the fees outlined below remain in effect:
Customers in various regions and other client groups have requested different funding methods for client liaisons and program assistants. As shown in the following listing, some provide specific accounts to cover these services, but others have chosen to have these costs prorated over the various accounts that the TSC teams use.

The following schedule, being applied specifically to PN, MP, LC, and GP Region jobs, represents about a 1-percent charge to the customer on individual jobs for client support services. Team leaders need to include these staff days in service agreement budgets during the budget formulation stage.

|$175,000- $225,000||2 sd skill level I or II and 2 sd skill level III|
|$225,000 and greater||Add ½ sd skill level I or II and ½ sd skill level III for each $50,000 increase in budget|
Client Liaisons are sometimes involved in detailed scoping and team formulation activities that may require additional time for a particular job. The Client Liaison will contact the Team Leader in those instances.
