FOLSOM, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation is continuing contract negotiations with the Sacramento County Water Agency on contract terms and conditions of their existing assignment of Central Valley Project water (American River Division) from the Sacramento Municipal Utilities District.
The contract will be negotiated to reflect existing law and policy governing Reclamation water service contracts. The goal of the negotiations is to arrive at a mutually agreeable long-term contract. The session is scheduled:

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Immediately following the negotiation session for the long-term contract, Reclamation will open a negotiation session for the interim contract.
The public is welcome to attend the sessions and will have the opportunity to provide comments to Reclamation regarding these contracting actions; participation instructions will be available at the sessions. The proposed contracts and other pertinent documents will also be available at the sessions.
