The Bureau of Reclamation has scheduled continuing negotiations with seven existing Cross Valley contractors, including the county of Fresno, to negotiate long-term contracts for delivery of Central Valley Project water.

Reclamation and the Cross Valley contractors have entered into successive, short-term renewals of an existing contract.  The negotiation session will address mutually beneficial, long-term renewal contracts for water service.    

The Cross Valley contractors are the Hills Valley Irrigation District, Kern-Tulare Water District, Lower Tule River Irrigation District, Pixley Irrigation District, Tri-Valley Water District, the county of Tulare, and the county of Fresno.
