For Release: November 18, 2008
The Bureau of Reclamation has released a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) to award a Water Conservation Field Service Grant to the Henry Miller Reclamation District for a project that would upgrade flow rate and water quality monitoring equipment at two locations within its district boundaries. The data collected from the upgraded devices would be used for efficient programming, and reduce time spent on water monitoring, prevent spills, and help ensure accurate water deliveries. The Draft EA and Draft FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available for public review and comment.
The Draft EA and Draft FONSI are available online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_projdetails.cfm?Project_ID=3476. If you encounter problems accessing documents online, please contact Ms. Lynnette Wirth at 916-978-5102 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
