The intent of the meeting is to listen to and record comments made by the public. Reclamation will not be responding to comments or answering questions at this meeting. Responses to comments received on the Supplemental Information Report and the Draft EIS will be in the Final EIS.

The public hearing will be at the Pueblo Convention Center, 320 Central Main Street from 6-9 p.m.

Members of the public wanting to speak at the hearing will have the opportunity to register from 5:30 to 6:00 pm. Statements will be limited to a maximum of 3 minutes per commenter. There will be a third-party moderator to facilitate the process and a court reporter to document the comments.

The Supplemental Information Report is available at www.sdseis.com and provides information about additional effects in light of changes to the alternatives and additional analyses since the DEIS was issued. This report has been prepared in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act. Written comments on the Supplemental Information Report will be accepted until November 24, 2008.
