Reclamation Schedules Negotiation Sessions for a Water Storage Contract with Truckee Meadows Water Authority

The Bureau of Reclamation will conduct a series of negotiations for a storage contract with the Truckee Meadows Water Authority. Under the Truckee River Operating Agreement (TROA) and Section 205(a)(6) of the Truckee-Carson-Pyramid Lake Water Rights Settlement Act of 1990, Title II of Public Law 101-618, Reclamation is authorized to enter into contracts for the use of space in Truckee River reservoirs. Contracts must be consistent with terms and conditions defined in TROA.

The negotiations will be held on the last four Thursdays of the month - January 10, 17, 24, & 31, 2008:

Reno, Nevada
Beginning at 10 a.m.
Truckee Meadows Water Authority, Donner Room
1355 Capital Boulevard
