Interagency Acquisition (IA)
It is a mutual agreement between agencies in which one agency provides supplies or services to another agency and funds are exchanged. The Economy Act (31 U.S.C. 1535) applies when more specific authority does not exist and each IA is required to be supported by an Economy Act Determination.
