- Purpose: To transmit instructions for mandatory use of the Department BPA's for the purchase of servers, desktops, laptops, monitors and printers.
- Effective Date: July 13, 2006.
- Expiration Date: In effect until revised.
- Background: On November 14, 2005, the Department's Chief Information Officer and the Manager, Office of Acquisition and Property Management, issued a joint memorandum to all heads of bureaus and offices, directing the mandatory use of the above referenced BPA's for the purchase of servers, desktops, laptops, monitors, and printers. The attached memorandum outlines the Reclamation ordering process, waiver process, and instructions for the purchase of these items. Approved waivers must accompany any purchase request and/or be attached to the purchase card statements for items purchased outside of the mandatory BPA's.
- Action Required: Please distribute this ET to all acquisition personnel and to all purchase business line charge cardholders.
