Subject: Electronic Transmittal (ET) No. 06-05, Reporting to the Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation (FPDS-NG)

1. Purpose: To provide clarification on the role of the FPDS-NG point of contact and to remind regional and Denver acquisition offices of the Procurement Data Quality Control Plan issued last year under Electronic Transmittal (ET) 05-04 dated October 18, 2004.

2. Effective date: Effective upon issuance.

3. Expiration date: Effective until cancelled or superseded.

4. Background: See attached Department of the Interior Acquisition Policy Release (DIAPR) 2004-7

5. Action Required: Certify to the Manager, AAMD, by November 15, 2005, that fiscal year 2005 data is complete and accurate. Regional and Denver acquisition offices shall distribute this ET to all acquisition personnel.
