1. Background: The U. S. Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) has entered into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Financial Management Services (FMS) to make invoice payment remittance information available on the Internet or by-email to Reclamation vendors. The system that provides this information is called the Payment Advice Internet Delivery (PAID) system.
2. Purpose: The
use of a cover sheet to be placed on all awards was discussed
and
agreed upon by the Procurement Officer’s Work Group. This cover
sheet will
explain the PAID system and provide an internet web site where contractors
can
access this system. The attached cover page describing the PAID system
is to be
attached to every award.
3. Effective Date: Immediately
4. Expiration Date: September 30, 2005
5. Action Required: Regional acquisition
offices should distribute this
memorandum to all acquisition personnel.
