Subject:  Electronic Transmittal (ET) No. . 05-06 Department-wide Policy on the Use of Appropriated Funds to Purchase Kitchen Appliances

1. Purpose: To transmit Department of the Interior, Office of Acquisition and Property Management and Senior Procurement Executive Memorandum, December 14, 2004, subject as stated above.

2. Effective Date: December 14, 2004

3. Expiration Date: This ET remains in effect until the policy is formally incorporated into the Department of the Interior Acquisition Regulations.

4. Background: See attached memorandum.

5. Explanation of Changes: See attached memorandum.

6. Action Required: Regional acquisition offices should distribute this memorandum to all acquisition personnel.
