Subject:  Electronic Transmittal (ET) No. . 04-19, Deadline for Completing FY 2004 Procurement Data Submission to the Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation (FPDS-NG)

1. Purpose: To provide a reporting deadline on submitting transactions to FPDS-NG.

2. Effective date: September 9, 2004.

3. Expiration date: November 15, 2004.

4. Background: All transactions over $2500 and modifications to those transactions, regardless of value, must be reported to FPDS-NG. The highest levels of Federal procurement management are very interested in collecting complete and accurate data in a timely manner under the new system.

5. Action Required: The Department of the Interior has established a reporting deadline of these transactions by November 15, 2004. All fiscal year 2004 transactions must be completed at this time.
