Subject:  Electronic Transmittal (ET) No. . 04-15, Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation (FPDS-NG) Reporting

1. Purpose: To provide guidance on submitting transactions to FPDS-NG.

2. Effective date: June 25, 2004.

3. Expiration date: Until cancelled.

4. Background: The Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) has been upgraded to the Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation (FPDS-NG) and is now available for input of transactions completed after October 1, 2003.

5. Action Required: All transactions over $2500 and modifications to those transactions, regardless of value, must be reported to FPDS-NG. Please have all transactions completed after October 1, 2003, entered into FPDS-NG by August 15, 2004. Attached is the FPDS-NG User Guide. Regional offices should distribute this information as appropriate.
