Subject:Electronic Transmittal (ET) No. 04-11- Consolidation of the Department of the Interior's Real Estate Appraisal Functions
1. Purpose: This FYI memorandum provides a website linkage to Secretarial Order No. 3251, dated November 12, 2003, which consolidates the Department's real estate appraisal functions into the National Business Center (NBC) within the Office of the Secretary.
2. Effective Date: November 12, 2003.
3. Expiration Date: Not applicable.
4. Background: Real estate appraisal functions are transferred from all bureaus and offices (with the exception of the Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians) to the Office of Appraisal Services within the NBC.

6. Action Required:
(a) Regional acquisition offices shall distribute this FYI memorandum to all acquisition personnel.
