Authorization of direct awards to 8(a) contractors
We are forwarding a copy of DIAPR 1998-5, Amendment 1, signed May 4, 1999, subject as above, which extends the expiration date of th Memorandum of Understanding between the Small Business Administration and the Department of the Interior to September 30, 1999. Contracting officers, acting within the scope of their authority, shall continue to issue purchase orders and contracts directly to eligible 8(a) contractors in accordance with RAR WBR 1419.8000.
