Subject: Business Utilization and Development Memorandum (BUDM) 02-04 - Fiscal Year 2002 Business and Economic Development Program Goals
At the March 2002 POWG meeting, an agreement was reached that fiscal year 2002 BEDP goals would be shared equally by all contracting offices. This method is subject to change in future years. I also advised that, based on the implications of Public Law 107-69, we had petitioned the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization to reconsider its raising our small business and 8(a) goals. We have successfully concluded negotiations with OSDBU on this point. Therefore, each contracting office's fiscal year 2002 BEDP goals are as follows:
