Leslie Comnes, M.A.
Leslie Comnes is an education writer specializing in science and environmental education programs. As a former teacher, she aims to develop motivating programs that are connected to learners' everyday lives and that are based on realistic expectations of students and teachers. She has worked on a number of nationally-recognized projects, including the Project Learning Tree K-8 Activity Guide, Project WILD's Wild About Elk, and the award-winning California State Environmental Education Guide.
