Description: Mountain View's water-efficient garden demonstrates ways to create attractive, colorful gardens using plants that are easily maintained and drought-resistant. The garden includes more than 100 plants appropriate to California's dry climate.

Features: The garden, designed by Landscape Architect Mark Feldkamp, won the Northern California Turf Council Award for "Excellence in Design of a Demonstration Garden," and award for both beauty and water efficiency just one year after its planting.
