Summary:
Reclamation proposes implementation of a 10-year program to remove accumulated sediment and vegetation at the Little Panoche Detention Dam. Without managing the vegetation and sedimentation in Little Panoche Creek, the San Luis Canal and surrounding areas would be subject to damage and flooding. The proposed action would improve water flow downstream from the dam's concrete spillway and improve the ability to monitor flood releases and drainage from seep holes within the dam.
