C.A.S.T. For Kids at Shasta Lake

Our Mid-Pacific Region Northern California Area Office held its eighth annual C.A.S.T. (Catch A Special Thrill) For Kids event on Saturday, June 30, 2007, at the Packers Bay Boat Launch Area on Shasta Lake.

C.A.S.T. For Kids events are outdoor programs that "team up" sponsors and anglers with special needs children for a day of fishing enjoyment.  This year, there were participants from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, Northern California Burn Foundation, and other local agencies and schools.
