Resource Management Plan/Environmental Impact Statement (RMP/EIS)

Non-interactive Picture of a picnic area at New MelonesThe Bureau of Reclamation is preparing a combined Resource Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement (RMP/EIS) for Reclamation-managed lands located at the New Melones Lake Area. 

This process will include consultation with local governments and interests, public scoping and open houses, visitor surveys, and development of a document with a proposed action and alternatives.

Reclamation will hold two Open House sessions to provide project information and receive comments on the Draft RMP/EIS.  The public is welcome any time during the two Open Houses to visit with Reclamation staff at information stations, ask questions, and provide comments:
