Things to Remember Before Arriving
Lake Berryessa is located in a fairly remote area, approximately 45 minutes from major facilities or towns. You should remember to stock up on food items, gasoline, and any other necessities for your trip. Some items can be purchased in small local stores and inside the resorts. There are no refueling facilities at Lake Berryessa.

You will need permits for special events and some activities on Lake Berryessa. Please see links below for permit information.
Lake Berryessa is a popular recreation destination for over 1.5 million visitors each year. Many of those visitors participate in motorized boating activities year round. You are responsible for knowing and following all boating regulations and "rules of the road" on the lake. Please use common sense, and everyone will go home safely with great memories!
