2013 Feds Feed Families Campaign
In past years, Reclamation has been very effective -- with the strong support of Commissioner Connor and Assistant Secretary Anne Castle -- in representing our combined employees in the annual Fed Feeds Families campaign. This year, Reclamation brought in a whopping 7,523.7 pounds of food and $268.00 in cash!
Employees were asked to bring non-perishable food items and place them into a designated collection box in your Federal workplace. The campaign officially began on June and ran through August 28, 2013.
The Feds Feed Families campaign is a joint government-wide effort to feed the hungry. All Federal agencies, including Field components, are asked to participate in the campaign. The field agencies share their collections with their local food banks.
