Dear Fellow Federal Employee: It is that time of year again when we are given an opportunity to consider a monetary donation to the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). With today's economy it is hard to consider giving up our hard earned money, however it is times like these that it's needed the most. There are people all over the country who have lost their jobs or need extra help. The CFC is the only authorized solicitation of employees in the federal workplace on behalf of charitable organizations. You can make a one-time cash or check donation, or use the payroll deduction method. The payroll deduction is quick, easy, and the sacrifice of giving is spread out over the entire year.
