Sturgeon
(Above) The Pallid Sturgeon (Scaphirhynchus albus) is one of the largest fish found in the Missouri-Mississippi River drainage, weighing up to 85 lbs. The Pallid Sturgeon is a Federally Endangered species.

The proposed action would divert water from the Little Arkansas River and inject it into the Equus Beds Aquifer for recharging the city's well field. The U.S. Congress has authorized Reclamation to assist in funding of the project.
