How has Reclamation become more accountable?

Being accountable to its customers, stakeholders, and the public remains critical to Reclamation as it has moved forward following Managing for Excellence.  To ensure accountability, Reclamation has:

Developed policies and procedures for the independent oversight of design and construction estimates to ensure successful project accomplishment and maintain credibility with water and power users and other customers.

Improved the process of reporting project financial status to customers, stakeholders, and managers and developed a training program for customers, stakeholders, and managers so that they better understand Reclamation’s Financial Management.
