Location

On the Yellowstone River, about 2 miles southwest of Huntley, Montana.

Construction period:

Completed in 1934. Rehabilitated in 1957.

Main Canal

Location:

From Yellowstone River Diversion Dam near Huntley, Montana., generally northeast along south side of Yellowstone River to vicinity of Pompeys Pillar, Montana.

    2 Vertical direct-connected turbine-driven centrifugal pump units.

    3 The 620-hp rating was for the two initial units. The 1946 replacements include two improved turbines operating with a 45-ft head and a normal capacity of 100 cfs total.
